Upon arrival our staff will review the New Patient forms and prepare it for the Doctor. You will then meet with Dr. Perrino for approx. 45 minutes to discuss your health history. Dr. Perrino will then perform an examination to determine whether we can be of service. Once your case is accepted, a physical exam (orthopedic and neurologic), and range of motion measurements and radiographs (x-rays) will be performed.
Dr. Perrino will review findings from your examination including your x-rays. Your customized correction will be discussed and performed using the Atlas Orthogonal (AO) Percussion Instrument. This means no manipulation, twisting or popping will be used. You will rest for a period of time following the correction. Following the Atlas Orthogonal (AO) correction, post-correction x-rays will be performed and guidelines will be provided. This includes home instruction and limitations. The post x-rays are analyzed and compared to your original films. All patients will have a 24 or 48 hour follow up appointment scheduled.
A customized treatment schedule will be outlined by Dr. Perrino after the first correction.
